Our furniture is made by hand. Does that mean we only use hand
tools? No. We use a variety of power tools, however we never
compromise a design to adapt to power tool methods. More often
than not we will work to a machine's limit and then pick up a
chisel or other hand tool to finish the job. The furniture is
generally made one piece at a time by a single craftsman working
at a bench.
Because we work this way we can make custom changes to our most
of standard items. We also can copy an antique from a photograph
or create a new design to meet your specific needs. The exceptions
are that we will not make custom changes to any of our chairs and
we will not custom match stains to furniture made by others.
Ordering a custom piece is easy. We can work with you by phone,
e-mail, or fax in planning the details of your custom furniture.
Custom changes increase the cost, even when you are making a piece
smaller. Please contact us for
further information. |
